We are currently in our series exploring 1998 Valve first-person shooter classic Half-Life.

In episode one, we situated the game in its time and spent a good deal of time discussing its restrained opening, and the demo that burst on the scene a few months before it came out.

In the second episode, we discussed some tenets behind the design and programming of AI, especially with respect to the marines, while also touching on other enemies.

In the third episode, we talk a good deal about level design and also weapon/player progression.
